The base is classic ketchup, combined with brown sugar and honey for sweetness, white vinegar for a bright tang, and soy sauce for depth and umami. A tablespoon of paprika adds color and a subtle smoky note. If you like heat, finish with cayenne to taste.

- ¾ Cup Ketchup

Combine all ingredients in a pot over medium heat and whisk until smooth.

Remove from heat. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Taste and adjust seasoning or cayenne if desired.
