Crispy Air Fryer Avocado Toast Recipe for Quick Breakfast

Air fryer avocado toast is a quick, flavorful breakfast that comes together in about five minutes. It’s simple, satisfying, and easy to customize to your taste.

  • Bread – Use any bread you have on hand: sandwich bread, sourdough, whole grain — two slices are enough.
  • Avocado – One ripe medium or large avocado, mashed.
  • Olive oil – Used to brush the bread before toasting and to drizzle on top. Choose a good-quality extra virgin olive oil for flavor.
  • Red pepper flakes (optional) – For a bit of heat.
  • Flaky salt (optional) – A small pinch enhances the avocado’s flavor.

How to make air fryer avocado toast

Start with two slices of bread. Lightly brush one side of each slice with olive oil; you can use butter if you prefer. Place the slices in the air fryer with the oiled side facing up.

Air fry at 400°F (about 200°C) for 4 minutes. Check the toast — it should be golden and crisp. If you prefer a darker toast, air fry for an extra minute.
