How Getting Organized Changed One Reader’s Life

Jill, thank you so much for those encouraging words. I have to tell you—I finally decluttered the living room!

You can’t imagine how amazing this feels. Everything I wanted to “save” until another day is now in that spare bedroom I mentioned. It’s such a relief.

I even had one of my children’s friends come over to help. I told her it would only take 15–20 minutes and she was skeptical because she’d seen the house when it looked like a tornado had hit. When she walked in this time, the expression on her face said it all—I wish I’d taken a picture!

She blurted out, “Rose, what happened?!” I laughed and said, “We did it.”

Jill, it took less than 15 minutes to move the remaining items into the back bedroom. Of course, my cat supervised the whole operation. My husband warned, “Don’t throw away all my VHS movies,” unaware we haven’t owned a VHS player in years.

I feel so light now. I can’t fully express how much weight has lifted off my shoulders.

I wanted to toss even more, but my son joked that the garbage collectors would egg the house. I told him, “There’s no stopping me now—wait until next week!” He said I looked scary with that determined look, and we all laughed about it.

Keep spreading the message about clearing clutter. People will be grateful.

If you were here, I’d give you a big hug. I just wanted to share the good news—talk soon.

Hugs, Rose

P.S. If you’d like, please share this on the website. It might help someone else feel less overwhelmed by the decluttering process. Remember: taking baby steps is enough.

Thank you for being by my side. Even though you didn’t physically help, you supported me mentally and emotionally. When I doubted myself, your posts and newsletters kept me encouraged. I can’t thank you enough.
